Team transportation and travel to games and tournaments — getting our Spartans to the ice, near and far.
Simley High School fields a girls ice hockey program for athletes across Inver Grove Heights and the surrounding Independent School District 199 community. Wearing the purple and gold of the Spartans, our players compete in the Minnesota State High School League.
From first-year skaters to seasoned varsity competitors, the program is built on hard work, sportsmanship, and team-first culture. The girls who lace up for Simley learn to push themselves, lift up their teammates, and represent their school and city with pride.
Through the cooperation of coaches, students, and parents, the Simley Girls Hockey Boosters is organized to promote and foster a spirit of excellence and pride in the girls hockey program. More specifically, the association assists in funding extraordinary expenditures such as specialized equipment purchases, training, and tournament participation.
Our work centers on three things: youth hockey training, leadership development, and community involvement through team participation. We are a registered 501(c)(3) public charity, run entirely by volunteers, and donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
Fundraising, sponsorships, and donations come together to cover the real costs of high school hockey — so families and players can focus on the game. In a recent season the boosters invested in:
Team transportation and travel to games and tournaments — getting our Spartans to the ice, near and far.
Specialized equipment, jerseys, training, and the ice time that makes practices and home games possible.
Player scholarships plus the senior banquet and team celebrations that honor our athletes’ hard work.
The Simley Girls Hockey Boosters is led by a dedicated group of volunteer parents and community members. (Update names each year in Pages → About.)
“It takes a whole community to put a team on the ice — and ours shows up, every single season.” Simley Girls Hockey Boosters
